Stirling Dickinson '31 Loves Mexico
Stirling Dickinson '31 went to Mexico in 1936 and, falling in love with San Miguel de Allende, bought a house for $90. He has lived there for six decades, and as director of the Instituto Allende, an art school, he helped establish the town as a major tourist attraction known for its reputation as an arts center.
Frank Runyeon '75 Leaves Soaps for Gospel Shows
Frank Runyeon '75, formerly a soap opera actor, now performs in one-man shows which dramatize the gospels.
Karen Smyers '83 is Ironwoman
In October Karen Smyers '83 won the Ironman Triathlon in Honolulu, upsetting the long-reigning female champion, Paula Newby-Fraser.
