Letter from an alumnus about The poker lifestyle

In "Raising the Stakes" (On Campus, April 20) a senior is quoted regarding the burgeoning popularity of poker games on campus as saying, "College is the perfect place" for poker. He added: "you have tons of free time, lots of reasons to be looking for ways to procrastinate, and the financial independence to waste your money in stupid ways."

Is this the student lifestyle I'm being asked to support and nurture through Annual Giving?
