Purpose of the Projects BoardThe Projects Board, as a standing committee of the USG, is empowered with two principal functions. First, the Board is to serve as one of the primary funders for all campus events and activities initiated by student groups having "541 accounts" recognized by the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students (ODUS) and the USG. Second, the Board, as an expert body with regard to the planning and administration of campus events, is to act in an advisory role to organizations, facilitating relevant information to event organizers. The Projects Board is here to help you! Projects Board Home PageThe Projects Board home page is the one-stop source for funding information. There are various links full of information regarding student group funding, department/program manager contacts, important meeting dates, application deadlines, Projects Board Charter, etc. The following information can be found on the Projects Board Home Page: The most important piece of information on the home page is the online application form. The application is no longer done on paper. It is laid out in a user-friendly format that facilitates the comprehensive review process used by the Projects Board. Please be as precise as you can in quoting cost figures. The best thing to do is to get exact prices from vendors. This way, you can be sure when calculating costs. Some of the sections do not apply to all events. For instance, some events do not have food. In this case, just leave that section blank and place a $0 in the subtotal for that particular section.
