Last Minute Reminders
The Day of the Projects Board Meeting
- Please have the officer most familiar with the event and budget present
at the Projects Board meeting.
- Please bring a copy of your online application budget and a copy
of the funding solicitation letter you sent to departments/program
After Your Event
- Remember to send in a Post Project Report (an itemized budget of
what you actually spent on your event).
- If you are not happy with the amount granted, please talk to the
Projects Board Chair. They are more than happy to explain to you the
rationale of their decision.
- You can print up all your flyers for free in the USG Office in Frist
Campus Center.
- Please limit your advertising to one newspaper ad per event.
- Flyers are always the preferred way in advertising (they are extremely
effective and inexpensive too!)
- The advertising of your event on the Active list is highly recommended.
Shopping
- Go to Wegman's and Party Fair for University discounts.
- Never pay for sales tax! The University is a tax-exempt institution.
For the University tax exemption number, please stop by the Office of
the Dean of Undergraduate Students.
Color Posters
- The USG and the Office of the Dean of Undergraduate Students just
bought a color printer to make posters for student groups. This will
be in use after Spring Break of 2002. Please ask us if you have any
questions about it.
- We recommend and encourage you to use this color printer so that
we can cut back on budget costs.
