Building Bridges to the Future is a consortium of central New Jersey school districts, corporations, science organizations, PMI, Teacher Preparation, and the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory.  The consortium provides support activities, led by scientists and engineers, for client school districts adopting innovative science curricula.  Building Bridges to the Future is itself a member of a regional coalition, the Tri-State Science Education Reform Partnership, which in turn is a regional partner in LASER.

More about LASER

School districts that are seeking to improve science education are matched with other districts in the same region that have built strong science education programs.   LASER builds a new vision of science education among school leaders, helps them to appreciate the effectiveness of inquiry-centered science materials, and guides them in a strategic planning process.

Necessary assistance to client school districts is provided by universities, corporations, science organizations, and school districts that have more experience with the process.

NSRC is funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and at least ten corporate contributors.
