The Ivy League Environmental Coalition (ILEC)
is a network of the environmental organizations at all of the Ivy League schools. This year their campaign is focusing on promoting renewable energy purchases and green building design at these schools. Princeton's ILEC representatives are Cathy Malina '05 and Cathy Kunkel '06.
The Princeton Environmental Institute
(located in Guyot Hall) is a research institution that sponsors weekly faculty talks. It also runs the undergraduate certificate program in Environmental Studies and the graduate program in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy.
The Princeton Environmental Oversight Committee
is a group of mostly administrators and a few students and faculty that meets once a month to discuss ways to improve the University's environmental policies.
The Northeast Climate Conference
will be held at Harvard on February 20-22nd. See this website for more details and registration information.
The Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association
and it's organic farm are located only a few minutes from Princeton. The Association frequently hires undergraduates for the summer.
