The Peepsters
Your dutiful servants.
Who we are, roughly, AND our answers to the interviews, but of course.
Kean, '06, is the "peepstress" who came up with the idea for this publication while driving around her hometown of Austin, Texas, with her co-conspirator, Emmo Floyd, talking about all the Princeton professor's they'd like to interview. With the help and encouragement of her friends, Peeps was born. Kean sincerely hopes that you like it.
Emily Arensman
Emily Arensman, '06, is blamed for the wacked out questions that cause people to give us almost frightened looks when we ask them. Ahem...Do you have any strange eating habits? She is yet another co-conspirator in this idea, as she and Kean spent hours at work this summer (their nonpaid internships) emailing between Louisville and Austin about ideas, questions to ask, people to interview, et cetera. Besides her creative and irreverent knack, she is also our treasurer...which is ironic, because we have no money.
Jennie is one with it sister from Santa Barbara, California. In between walking to and from Forbes, she likes to go to class, do extracurricular activities, and edit the Alumni section of Peeps.
Darcy Copeland
Darcy is the Ray of Sunshine from Columbus, Ohio, as well as the Students editor. She is also a starlett on the Princeton Track and Field team, and generally someone that all students should email not only because she's fabulous and cool, but because she will put your interviews on our website!
Waldo Emerson Floyd, IV
Emmo is our token bad boy from Macon, Georgia. When he is not living out the original idea, he is playing the guitar or losing stuff or occasionally even giving us creative input. Emmo and Kean came up with the original idea for Peeps, then spent many subsuquent hours arguing over details about it, after which Kean was of course triumphant. Every now and then Emmo gets a word in edgewise, so that she doesn't put the "freak" back into control freak.
