Special Events

Throughout the year PEF sponsors retreats, conferences, seminars, missions and service opportunities, and various social events. These usually include:

Ocean City Retreat

Contact: Erin Nielsen ’04 (erinn@)

We bridge back into the school year with beach volleyball, body surfing, ping pong tournaments, games and home-cooked food in Ocean City, NJ. We also come together to worship God, reconnect after a summer apart, and prepare our hearts for another school year.

Winter Retreat

Contact: Erin Nielsen ’04 (erinn@)

Every Intersession (you know, that free week between the end of fall exams and the start of Spring Semester), PEF and Manna Christian Fellowship retreat to the hills of New Hampshire and the slopes of Vermont for five days of fellowship, games, prayer, snow football, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, home-cooked food, sharing, singing, bonding, and hearing God’s Word. Pretty much the best week of the year.

Missions Conference

Each November, our Missions Conference gives us the opportunity to meet and hear from missionaries – including many Princeton alumni – serving around the world. We learn more about the call to missions, the need for missionaries, and the growth of the international church.

Bible Conference

Usually held in February, the Bible Conference brings in authors and scholars to speak on issues related to Biblical authority, the reliability of Scripture, and forging a Biblical worldview.

Mission and Service Trips

PEF sponsors periodic domestic and international mission and service trips for students to serve and share their faith in word and action.

Seminars

PEF staff members offer periodic seminars on issues relevant to Princeton students. Communicating Biblical Truth focuses on how to study and teach the Bible. Issues in Biblical Authority covers such topics as the historical reliability of the Bible and the formation of the canon of Scripture.

But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, he saved us,
not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.
Titus 3:3-5
