Princeton in Africa Partners

Since 1999, Princeton in Africa has partnered with more than 40 different organizations.

 

How Partners are Selected

We are always happy to consider new partnerships with local and international organizations working on the African continent. Princeton in Africa looks for organizations that:

 

· Are engaged in exciting initiatives that work toward Africa’s advancement

· Can provide a yearlong position in Africa where the Fellow will have an opportunity to play a substantive role in daily operations

· Can contribute something toward the costs associated with the fellowship (such as housing or a monthly stipend). Princeton in Africa aims to provide opportunities with a diverse group of organizations; as such, partnership details can vary per organization.

 

Princeton in Africa takes the security of Fellows very seriously. Our Programs Committee vets every opportunity on an annual basis.

The International Rescue Committee’s experience with Princeton in Africa has been exceptional. Each Fellow brings excellent writing and analytical skills as well as unique interests and passions that enrich the program and the field office environment.
