PIIRS publishes occasional monographs on a wide range of subjects that are usually the fruit of PIIRS-sponsored conferences. Recent monographs include the following: a retrospective essay about Ambassador George Kennan, produced for a conference in honor of Kennan's hundredth birthday; a collection of essays about universal jurisdiction as related to the Belgian case brought against former Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon; a series of papers probing different facets of the problem of recurrent debt and default in borrower countries; and, most recently, essays drawn from a PIIRS-sponsored conference for graduate students that explore diverse methodological approaches to topics that cross disciplines and cross borders. The monographs are available for purchase through PIIRS.
