Become a Partner Organization
PiLA is continually looking to expand its fellowship opportunities in Latin America. PiLA aims to provide fellows with worthwhile field experiences and to provide our Latin American partner organizations with talented, low cost employees.
By managing the entire process of recruiting and selecting candidates, PiLA hopes to reduce the costs associated with fellows and significantly increase the chances for successful fellowships. To date, our partner organizations have been extraordinarily pleased with the results of their PiLA fellows.
PiLA fellows are chosen through a comprehensive selection process to identify the students with the greatest chance at success. Working with the organizations, PiLA develops job descriptions and expectations in order to identify good prospects. Candidates must submit a written application, professional or academic references, and an academic transcript.
The process continues with in-person interviews, and review by the selection committee. Fellows are matched with partner organizations based on their capabilities and, where appropriate, their technical and language skills. PiLA then presents organizations with several candidates from which the organization may choose.
If you know of an organization in Latin America that would benefit from hosting a PiLA fellow, please contact Executive Director Claire Brown at pila@princeton.edu.
