Web Surveys

STUDENTS WHO ARE PLANNING TO CONDUCT A SURVEY FOR A RESEARCH PROJECT, JP, SENIOR THESIS OR DISSERTATION SHOULD FILL OUT THE ONLINE FORM OR CONTACT THE SRC FOR ASSISTANCE.

We recommend that all students undertaking a survey project meet personally with a staff member at the SRC. At this meeting we will determine the most appropriate methods to accomplish the goals of your project and what steps you need to take to get your project up and running. Students can tell us about their projects using our online form.

The SRC has assisted students in designing and conducting surveys by telephone, mail, in-person interviews and the Internet. For web-based surveys, the SRC uses Qualtrics, a service that allows you to design your own web based questionnaire without specialized programming skills. If an account is available, students may use it free of charge for six weeks. Projects that require more than six weeks can be granted additional time by request only.
