Old History

This page was under construction. With that said, I'll try to remember the history of the band from memory.

The Princeton University Band was founded in 1146 by the Druids. They made their instruments out of their own spit and conquered many nations. Preceding football for hundreds of years, members performed field shows on random pieces of grass and before jousting tournaments. After an incident (let's just say knights really don't have a sense of humor), they went dormant for many years, emerging in the present form sometime around 1900.

The signature orange and black plaid was introduced in 1352 to camouflage members with the then overwhelmingly crowded tiger population. It was reintroduced in the '50s when the band momentarily seized world power for a period of two days.
