Electronic Mailing Lists

We currently use three electronic mailing lists:

• The pu-band-members electronic mailing list is available to all current PUB members, and carries items of general interest to them. The list tends to be low-volume, containing mostly announcements. Subscription isn't automatic; to subscribe, send email to the list manager, specifying that you wish to subscribe to pu-band-members.
• The pu-band-random electronic mailing list is available to all current PUB members and members of Friends of the Tiger Band. It is dedicated to the propagation of Randomness, Entropy, and Gross Jokes. This list is occasionally high-volume, and is not for the squeamish, easily-offended, or faint of heart. Subscription isn't automatic; to subscribe, send email to the list manager, specifying that you wish to subscribe to pu-band-random.
• The pu-band-social electronic mailing list is available to all current PUB members. It's used by members to socialize, arrange for get-togethers, etc. Subscription isn't automatic; to subscribe, send email to the list manager, specifying that you wish to subscribe to pu-band-social.

Some of the Band's web pages are restricted to Band members and members of the Friends of the Tiger Band. Band members who have subscribed to either mailing list automatically receive access to these pages via their OIT computer account names/passwords.
