  • Cheering in the Stands

[photo] [photo] Cheering (Fall '92, '97) Along with the cheerleaders, the Band considers itself "Princeton's No. 1 Athletic Supporters." Never a group to mince words, the Band's enthusiastic cheers are always entertaining, if not 100% politically correct.

King Tut (Yale '81) Born in Arizona, got a condo made o' stona. [photo]

[photo] [photo] Funky Chicken (10/93, Fall '91) Based on their hands, these folks are probably leading us in the Funky Chicken cheer. Or it's their impression of a Siamese Twin.

The Mace (Fall '98, '00) When the Bad Guys score, the Drum Major leads the Band in expressing our collective opinion. [photo] [photo]

[photo] [photo][photo] Hans & Franz (Fall '98, '00), Hans & The Fonz (11/00) Hans & Franz are here to pump....you up. And sometimes, when Franz can't make it, Hanz invites a friend.

March Madness (Spring '98) What would the NCAA Basketball tournament be without Princeton? From the start of the season in November to the final buzzer in March, the Band's there, sending Princeton fans into overdrive, and home TV sets into orange overload. [photo]

[photo] [photo] AB Cheer, Engineers Cheer (Fall '94, '98) Band A.B.'s (that's B.A.'s for you non-Princetonians) recite their knowledge of the classics. Engineers often respond with their knowledge of transcendental functions.
