Well, as close as we get...

Well, what did you think we mean by "high-stepping"?

    On Prospect Ave. (1970's, 10/00), Informal P-Rade (6/96)
Contrary to popular belief, we do march. Well, ok, we saunter. Most of the time. We can march. We just don't want to.

[photo] [photo] Leading the Way (11/00, 10/00)
Leading the band on its many forays into the vast unknown are its fearless leaders, the Stud Conductor and Drum Major. They lead with style, they lead with grace, and sometimes they lead while stuffing their face.

    Alternate Routes (11/00, 10/00)
Band members prove that the most interesting path between two points isn't always a straight line. Two roads diverged in a plaid wood, and they took the one less traveled by.

[photo] [photo] Boneheads (11/83, Fall '94)
Trombones march at the front of the Band. (Picture marching in front of a trombone and you'll understand why.) We line up behind the boneheads...sometimes with more success that other times.

    Starting Halftime (early-mid '70s)
Although we're a scramble band, we do start most shows with some marching. (Well, it's as close as we get.) This looks to be from the early or mid-70s, judging by the mini skirts.

    [photo] The Barge (Fall '00)
Outside Princeton Stadium is a giant iron monstrosity we lovingly refer to as "the barge." Following the wishes of the University for us to fully experience the artwork on campus, we take this opportunity to get inside one of Princeton's newest sculptures.
