Research Interest:
1) Computational aspects of applied geophysics, seismic imaging, seismic wave propagation and full-waveform inversion via multi-scale approach and early-to-later strategy using Spectral element method and adjoint method; 2) Coupled acoustic-elastic forward modeling using Spectral Element Method; 3) Design of more sophisticated measurements, e.g. envelope-associated cost functions to incorporate surface waves in tomography; 4) Adjoint tomography using source encoding with incomplete data; Controllable curvelet transform in seismic processing: random and coherent noise attenuation, multiple adaptive subtraction
