CEG member Wei Peng from Woodrow Wilson School led a lunch discussion on shale gas in China. Wei overviewed the rapid growth of shale gas usage in the US and the China’s ongoing effort to exploit shale gas. Wei also provided a detailed reading material to illustrate the challenge and opportunity in Chinese shale gas issues.

CEG members specializing in carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) also brought insights to the discussion.
