Rob Weiss '09 - President

rmweiss@princeton.edu

Rob is a junior in the Woodrow Wilson School who's interested in climate change, China, poverty and international development, and a little bit of everything else too. Hailing from Wilmington, Delaware, he likes to play jazz saxophone, basketball, and do kung fu, and is always looking for people to jam with/play pickup hoops. Rob has worked on several Democratic campaigns and interned for Senator Biden (D-DE) as well as Rep. Kathy Castor (Florida). He also currently serves as President of the New Jersey College Democrats, the official state federation of College Democrats chapters.

Scott Weingart '09 - Vice President

weingart@princeton.edu

Scott hails from New Jersey, and he likes sports, politics, food, math and sleeping.

Julia Kaplan '11 - Projects Coordinator

kaplan@princeton.edu

Julia is a freshman in Whitman College. She's from nearby South Brunswick, NJ and has been involved in local and state politics for several years. Julia is excited to be involved in College Dems in 2008 for what is sure to be a great election year. Besides being a self-described political junky, she likes singing, being caffeinated, reading up on current events, and spending some much-needed time on the Street.

Cindy Hong '09 - Co-Campaign Coordinator

cindyh@princeton.edu

Cindy’s a junior from Princeton, New Jersey, so she feels a need to contribute to local politics. Her academic interests include journalism, literature, and politics. On campus she writes for Princeton Progressive Nation and works at Marquand Library. In her free time she likes reading books that no one’s ever heard of and taking trips to the City.

Yume Kitasei '09 - Co-Campaign Coordinator

ykitasei@princeton.edu

Yume is a junior in the Woodrow Wilson School with a focus on urban poverty. She currently hails from New York City, and has been involved in local, state, and national politics and worked for local government there for the past 5 years and has accrued fifteen campaigns to date. She is very excited to take the White House this year. When she is not politicking and thinking about politicking, she is a junior RCA in Forbes College, and enjoys dorky pursuits such as reading, writing, and playing chess.

Will Wallace '09 - Treasurer

wcwallac@princeton.edu

Will, a member of the Class of 2009, is from Great Falls, Virginia. Growing up near Washington, D.C. gave him a tremendous interest in politics that has only grown in the years since George W. Bush took our country captive. On campus, Will is an undergraduate fellow of the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Affairs and co-chair of the USG Projects Board, the student government body that distributes money to fund campus events. He plays guitar and enjoys baseball, football, and basketball.

Neha Bansal '11 - Secretary

nbansal@princeton.edu

Neha is just a suburban girl born and raised in the dirty Jersey. A freshman in Whitman College, Neha has been dancing her whole life and can not (god forbid) be torn away from a dance floor. She enjoys good indie bands, bad youtube clips, and watching the Eagles win. Neha is a volunteer EMT on the Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad, which means she gets a kick out of speeding down roads with lights and sirens. Most importantly, Neha can't wait for the best year College Dems has ever had.

Laura Huchel '10 - Communications Director & Webmaster

lhuchel@princeton.edu

Laura is excited to be a part of the Princeton University Democrats. She is devoted to keeping Dems across campus updated and pursuing an interactive website for improved and varied communication. On campus, she spends a lot of time doing technical theater and researching Supreme Court justices.

Amara Nwannunu '11 - Social Chair

nwannunu@princeton.edu

Amara likes to write opinion columns for the Prince and watch CSPAN. Besides that, she only has two real joys in life: cooking and eating.
