Individuals
UD 2005
The PUFSC skaters competed at the intercollegiate team competition at the University of Deleware in March 2005. The Princeton team finished 4th overall in the competition thanks to great performances from our skaters:
- Maria Beylin: 3rd place, Senior short
- Leo Ungar: 1st place, Senior dance
- Daniel Eison: 1st place, Junior short; 1st place, Junior long
- Debbie Blinder: 2nd place, Intermediate dance
MIT 2001
PUFSC skated amazingly at yet another intercollegiate competition this weekend - this time at MIT. Out of 12 teams, we placed 6th! Considering the number of skaters we sent (only 5, compared to other schools that sent double that number), this is really impressive. Our success is due in no small part to the individual skaters who each won their divisions: Lindsay Karfeld, Christine Chang, and Lindsay Warner!
The results for the events we entered:
- Christine Chang '04: 1st place Senior solo dance; 6th place Senior short
- Lindsay Karfeld '01: 1st place Intermediate short; 3rd place Novice free
- Lindsay Warner '01: 1st place Pre-Intermediate B short
- Erica Gralla '04, Maria Maguire '01, Lindsay Warner '01: 2nd place, Pre-Intermediate A team
University of Delaware 2000
The University of Delaware competition was on Saturday, December 2 at the University of Delaware. Here are the results:
- Fifth out of eight overall
- Lindsay Karfeld, first in Intermediate short program
- Lindsay Karfeld, second in Novice long program
- Lindsay Warner, second in Pre-intermediate B short program
- Megan Hughes, first in Novice dance
- Christine Chang, fourth in Senior dance
- Whitney Karfeld, fourth in Senior long program
- Senior Team Compulsory, fourth
Synchro
Sectionals 2001
The Princeton Ice of the Tiger Synchronized Skating team competed January 28 at Eastern Sectionals in Buffalo, NY. They took second place!
Nationals 2001
The Princeton Tigers were extremely pleased with their performance during their second appearance at the U.S. National Synchronized Figure Skating Championships in Colorado Springs March 17.
