What's news:

I've started to write a new book on quantum control. Please see the Scientific Research
section for details. Feedback would be appreciated!

I'm developing high-speed Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithms for quantum state estimation.
The next step is to use MPI (message passing interface) to run multiple chains in parallel on my
Xeon cluster. Ultimately these will be integrated with femtosecond laser systems for online
closed loop quantum estimation and control.

We've nearly finished our article on Indian higher education reform. What a relief!
Nothing like writing a scientific paper.

On the musical front, I'm still struggling to get through the first 12 parts of the Goldberg
Variations, and wrestling with the beat structure of Raag Jhinjoti.
