About
me
I'm currently an Associate Research Scholar in Chemical Physics in the Department of Chemistry, Princeton University. My research focuses on the control of quantum dynamics and on evolutionary dynamics. I am a cofounder of the Chakrabarti Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting the cause of education in developing countries. I also serve as the chief scientific advisor of the PMC Group, a global chemicals manufacturer and technology development firm.
I was educated at Harvard College (AB Chemistry), where I studied primarily chemistry and physics, and then at Princeton University (PhD Chemistry), where I was a National Science Foundation (NSF) graduate fellow. I subsequently held postdoctoral appointments as a National Institutes of Health (NIH) fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Columbia University.
Over the years I have taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses in the Departments of Chemistry, Princeton University and MIT, and the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. My first teaching experience was as a martial arts instructor at the Pennsylvania Karate Academy in McMurray, PA.
