CCD Images
These are CCD images of various objects I have taken with a Meade Pictor 616
series CCD on a 10" Schmidt Cassegrain telescope. Enjoy!
- Here is a pretty good picture of
Jupiter (19k)
showing some atmospheric band structure.
- This is a picture of M57 (522k), the
ring nebula.
This image is not very good because the exposure time was a bit short and the
telescope doesn't track very well. In fact, its probably not even worth
looking at.
More and better images are on the way as I figure out how this CCD works.
