Finding Philosophy Books

Search for Princeton books in Firestone Library in the Main Catalog. Also, consider searching the Supplementary Catalog for items cataloged before 1980.

Search for other books in either the RLIN catalog or the WorldCat catalog. Both catalogs search for books in other libraries.

If Princeton does not own the book you need, you can order it through Interlibrary Loan. Also, if it is a philosophy book, please recommend a purchase to the Philosophy Librarian.

Princeton subscribes to a number of full-text primary philosophy resources through Past Masters. Included are electronic versions of standard editions of the following philosophers:
Anselm, Aquinas, Aristotle, Bacon, Bentham, Berkeley, Descartes, Dewey, Hegel, Hobbes, Hume, Kant, Kierkegaard, Leibniz, Locke, Mill, Nietzsche, Ockham, Peirce, Plato, Santayana, Sidgwick, Spinoza, and Wittgenstein.
