Getting Started

Why do research in Special Collections?

There are as many reasons as there are researchers, but here are three:

· To retrace individual creative activity in a notebook, journal or manuscript

· To explore the relationship between people in their correspondence

· To follow an event as it unfolded by means of a first-hand account or original document produced in the course of the event
