To facilitate the entry of call numbers for books that are being newly
entered in the database of the Online Reserve Request System (ORRS), we
have a clickable link to automatically open up the online library
catalog. The books to be added can be searched and then by simple
highlighting, copying and pasting, the call numbers can be transfered and
submitted.
To configure netscape to open up Host Presenter (if that's your telnet
client) automatically on clicking, please follow the following steps.
- Click on 'Options' from the pull-down menus on the top panel on
netscape and select 'General Preferences...'. A window titles
'Preferences' should open up.
- In the Preferences window, click on 'Apps' at the top.
- Look for the text box labelled 'Telnet Application' and type the
following line in that space:
C:\NET\BIN\PRESENTR.EXE /HOST
- Click OK at the bottom.
