Coming Together
Members of the Religious Life Council organized the Coming Together Conference, a
National Summit of Interfaith Councils, which was held from February 17-20, 2005. This
was first national gathering of college multi-faith councils, attended by representatives
from 30 universities including Princeton. In addition to the 27 hosting members of the
RLC, 68 students attended the conference. The conference included workshops,
conversations, and opportunities to join campus religious groups during their prayer
services and meditations (schedule of events).
Coming Together has become an annual
conference hosted by a different university each year. In 2006 Coming Together 2 was held at Johns Hopkins. Coming Together 3 in 2007 was at USC.
