Ruoheng Liu received the B.S. degree in Electronic Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 1998 and the M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, in 2001. He received Ph.D. degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, in 2007. During his Ph.D. studies, he was with the Wireless Information Network Laboratory (WINLAB) at Rutgers University. Currently, he is with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Princeton University, NJ, as a Postdoctoral Research Associate supervised by Prof. H. Vincent Poor

His research interests are in the areas of wireless communications, coding theory, and information theory. Specific topic includes:

  • Multiple Antenna Secure Broadcast Over Wireless Networks

  • Coding Schemes for Secure Transmission

  • Reliable Channel Regions for Coding over Parallel Channels

  • Cooperative Coding in Wireless Networks

  • Adaptive Transmission with Variable-Rate Turbo Bit-Interleaved Coded Modulation

  • Information-Theoretic Security for Multi-Terminal Networks

  • Hybrid ARQ for Wireless Networks

My Ph. D. dissertation:
