A very warm welcome to the Class of 2007!!! We hope you'll come over to our table at the Student Activities Fair on Friday, Sept 12th, at Dillon Gym from 2:30-5 pm. You can find out more about us, what we've done in the past and what we plan to do this year and sign up as members. Your suggestions for projects and ideas about what we can do are welcome.
The annual Rotary District Conference is May 16-18 in Lancaster, PA. It is a huge event that Rotarians from all around attend and is also supposed to be a lot of fun, with formals and dinners. We have been invited to send a representative to this conference and perhaps speak a little bit about the different things we have done this semester and about our plans. Transportation, food, and lodging is all paid for. If any of you are able to attend, considering it is exam week, then please email siddiqui@princeton.edu
Again, Communiversity is this Saturday. We have a table but are still deciding whether we should set it up or not. So far, we were thinking of face painting, henna tattooing, hand/feet prints ( kids would enjoy that) and printing people's names in different languages Chinatown style. Please email your suggestions and whether you'd be willing to participate to siddiqui@princeton.edu.
The local Rotary Clubs are sponsoring a raffle for a 2003 Volvo XC70AWD. All the local Interact and Rotaract Clubs will be participating by helping to sell raffle tickets for $5 a piece. Watch out for details.. we will soon be receiving books of raffle tickets that we can then help sell to students, professors and anyone you can think of. All proceeds will go towards helping Midland School, a Special Needs School.
Meetings are held fortnightly at Frist 201(The Frantz Student Activities Center). Members will be informed by mail if time and menu changes.
