This is an end-on view of the core of 9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16-octaphenyldibenzo[a,c]naphthacene, the most highly twisted polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon ever prepared. The X-ray structure shows an end-to-end twist of 105 degrees!
