In accordance with  SCM  F320,  classification by date of publication is supposed to refer to the actual  date  of  imprint, even  if  this  results  in  splitting editions  on  the  shelf.

However, the practice on  the Hebraica Team had been to class by  the original date of issue, hence  "older guys" have gone into BS1225, and "newer guys"  into BS1225.2+.
