When an established personal author changes his or her name, e.g., by marriage, the previously valid AACR2 heading becomes a ref coded $wnne. The coding is seldom seen in other circumstances, but can occur (especially with British place-names).
What happens if a heading with a ref coded $wnne changes again? Can a record have more than one ref coded $wnne?
CPSO says that a record may contain as many $wnnes
as appropriate, depending on how many times the
heading has changed.
