I am interested in speciation and diversification processess of vertebrates on mountains.

I am working in the evolution, ecology and systematics of Neotropical birds. I combine
ecological, historical, and geological approaches within a molecular systematics framework to explore possible mechanisms of avian evolution and diversity in the tropics.

I am currently a graduate student at Princeton University looking at the evolutionary processes of several bird species in the Andean Cordilleras of Colombia working with Henry Horn and Martin Wikelski
