SPARKY

I am Sparky. I was adopted June 7, 1999 at about 1 1/2 years old. I spent the first few months of my life on the streets of Manhattan. Maybe that's why my right ear is crooked. Then Brian fostered me and trained me for about a year until I became a permanent member of the Dawson Home.

I am named Sparky because I'm always happy and looking for adventure. I brought sunshine back after Scoutie died. I am a Labrador/Saluki mix. Saluki is a sighthound, like a greyhound. But we like to catch things with our feet.

You can find out more about salukis at the AKC website: AKC SALUKIS

Hounds & Harriers Race

I have run several Hounds and Harriers races that raise money for St. Huberts. The first year, I was very fast. But now I like to check out the other dogs and the smells, so I run with Susan. We still get a ribbon now and then.
