This Week's Event - Division 25

Hammer Downs

Hammer Downs is a large rectangle, with a smaller (1/4 size) raised platform in the middle. Each corner of the central platform has a ramp, and in the middle of each side of the platform there's a wall extending from the platform to the edge of the arena. These 4 walls divide the arena into 4 lower quadrants, and the upper central platform. Near the far corner of each quadrant (opposite the quadrant's ramp) is a large pylon. A large circle is painted in the middle of the upper platform.

The victory conditions are to pass between all four pylons and their nearest corner, and then park in the central circle. You must be stationary in the central circle for one second to count as parked. That car is immediately declared the victor. Other vehicles are scored: 1 point for mobility kill, +1 for total kill, 2 points for each pylon passed.

Dropped Weapon Restrictions: No car may leave a dropped solid counter within 2 car-lengths of a ramp or pylon, or inside the central circle. No flaming dropped counters (FOJ, FCE, etc) are allowed on the ramps or between the pylons and near corner. Other dropped weapons (SS, PS, OJ, ID, etc) are allowed anywhere.
