Clerical Prayers (Q)

Quest

The victim of this spell must perform a task which the cleric names and return with proof that the quest was accomplished. The task must be possible and consonant with the aims of the cleric's religion, but may take much time and effort. The task need not be begun immediately, but failure to do so within a reasonable period will subject the victim to a curse, as will doing anything (such as attacking the caster) which would tend to make the quest impossible. Both the task and the curse must be named when the quest is cast. The curse should be something non-fatal, and appropriate either to the quest itself, or to some offense the victim has committed. Should the cleric die, the curse begins immediately unless the victim can find some way to fulfill the intent of the quest.
