"15 Years to Life" by Anthony Papa
Tuesday, April 5th, 4:30PM 302 @ Frist Campus Center Tony Papa, author of 15 Years to Life , is came to speak to us on Tuesday, April 5th, 2005 @ 4:30PM in 302 Frist Campus Center. His talk was 15 To Life: The Road to Freedom and Reform of the Rockefeller Drug Laws. The Daily Prince covered the event: Students Bring Anthony Papa to discuss Drug Policy Reform Tony Papa's talk and story was very moving. It it absurd to see so many people go to prison, being seperated from their families, for non-violent crimes. His story is that he passed 4 1/2 oz of Cocaine and got sentenced to 15 years to life in prison. It was his first offence and it was non-violent. These were the flyers. March 21st, 2005: This web site is launched. Still need to work on the graphics, but the bare bones are there. Complaints? Compliments? Suggestions? Mail them to the webmaster, Reona Kumagai.
