Princeton Stand-Up Comedy
is Princeton's only group dedicated to performing the fine art of stand-up comedy on campus.
We generally have between 4 and 6 shows a year, performing in such venues as Theatre~Intime,
the Wilson Black Box Theater, various eating clubs, and the grad bar. We also help
interested students learn how to write and perform stand-up, honing their own ability through
various formal and informal meetings and the shows. (

Lastly, we are planning on taking a few trips to see
professional stand-up shows and support our alumni comedians.
Brief History:
Princeton Stand-Up Comedy was first developed in the Fall of 2001 by the very funny (and
very British) Peter Wicks. After an extremely successful premiere, the group took off, and
when Wicks left Princeton he passed the reins on to Tom Harrits'05 and Jason Lawrence GS.
Tom and Jason have worked hard to establish the group as an official, University-recognized
organization and make cool things like this website.
