Teaching
In spring and fall of 2011, I served as a preceptor for an introductory course in American politics for Professor Paul Frymer. This course covered many themes including ideology, voting behavior, elections, politics of the branches of government, inequality, parties, and polarization. As a preceptor, I prepared lessons and led discussions, while relating course themes and materials to current politics. In addition to an intro course in American politics, I am also interested in teaching a broad institutions course, as well as courses on the presidency, Congress, the courts, and introductory courses in game theory and quantitative methods. Finally, I also greatly enjoy and have experience tutoring elementary and middle school-aged children in math, reading, and writing.
