Flow Cell for In-Situ Nanoplasmonic Sensing and Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy

This flow cell system, designed and constructed in our lab, is equipped to study in-situ surface chemistry and dynamics on various solid surfaces, prepared on fabricated Nanoplasmonic arrays, under ambient pressure gas flow and high temperatures using Localized Surface Plasmon Resonance (LSPR) spectroscopy and Surface Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy (SERS). It is equipped with a fiber coupled high resolution UV-visible spectrometer and a fiber coupled modular Raman spectrometer. Additionally, the composition of reactant and product gases can be monitored using a quadrapole mass spectrometer, mounted in a separate vacuum housing. The gas flow and the heating in the flow reactor can be precisely regulated using a computer interface.
