Eden School teaches autistic students ages 3 to 21. It is located just two miles from campus on Route 1. Volunteers assist with vocational tasks, art, music, physical fitness activities, and sometimes accompany students on day trips. The project emphasizes the development of personal and secure links between the volunteers and the students. Eden provides mandatory training and training times are flexible. The average weekly commitment is about 2 1/2 hours, and volunteers are encouraged to participate for a full semester to facilitate firmer links with the students at Eden.
