The Martin House family of programs seeks to offer hope and opportunity to the low-income people it serves by helping them secure housing, education, clothing, and appliances. Martin House volunteers can participate in a variety of construction projects each week, ranging from reparing a fire-damaged building to painting a low-income housing unit. We work Saturday mornings in Trenton, leaving at about 8:30 and returning at about 12:30, with times varying according to the needs of the day's project. We generally work in a group of around a dozen people, which can include members from other schools and organizations. |
