Princeton Water Watch (Princeton)

Princeton Water Watch educates and activates university students and sommunity members to address local water quality problems. Our river cleanup, stream monitoring, and environmental education campaigns engage volunteers in hands-on environmental stewardship. River cleanups enable us to bring visibility to and make an immediate positive impact on the problems facing our local waterways. Our streem monitoring team tracks the long term health of the three streams on campus and allows us to make educated recommendations for enivronmental restoration efforts. Our education component makes the youngest members of our community aware of the environmental problems our areas face. Additionally, the group celebrates events such as Earth Day and World Water Monitoring Day to increase awareness on campus.
