MIMA Music is a nonprofit music company based in Princeton, NJ. It has establishments and representatives in multiple countries around the world, including: Argentina, Brazil, China, Croatia, France, Germany, Jamaica, USA, Netherlands, South Africa, and Spain. Within the USA, the 'MIMA in Princeton' branch is MIMA Music's innovative solution to critical budget cuts in the Arts and Education. We employ the most skilled and enthusiastic college students to give free music lessons to children in Trenton, NJ through after-school "MIMA in Princeton" programs.
College students serve as musical role models for children, provide them with transformational educational experiences, and help them do better in school. MIMA Music provides a service learning experience for college students as well. MIMA Music's other "MIMA in Princeton" programs (in-school, Live, Online, and Worldwide) reward participating college students with opportunities to showcase their talents, thereby generating proceeds to fund "MIMA in Princeton" after-school programs.
