News and Updates

       Spring 10 Announcements:

Since we do not have any beginners just yet, this week's class times will be adjusted. You'll receive notification on Sunday with this week's schedule.

** Attendance: Your attendance record factors into your testing score at the end of the term so come to class or email if you cannot. You must come to 2/3 classes (Monday, Wednesday, or Saturday). If you cannot attend, you must email BOTH tkd@ and rexh@.

Clarification on attendance:

  • You must attend 2 out of the following 3 classes: Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. You MUST email both rexh@ and tkd@ prior to class if you cannot attend.
  • Those interested in sparring are encouraged to attend Friday's sparring class. Those who intend on competing MUST attend. Email both accounts if you cannot attend class that day.
  • Sunday's team run are mandatory. Once again, email both accounts prior to the workout if you cannot attend.
  • When you cannot attend class, follow this format for the subject line: Absence Date (month/day), EXAMPLE: Absence 3/20
  • Finally, if you have any permanent conflicts or will arrive late due to classes, please email both accounts ONCE, and we'll make note of it so you don't have to email every time.

** Class schedule: Updated, can be found here.

** Tournaments: West Point - Sat. Feb. 27 - If you did not receive the email sent out by Steven Kim earlier this week, please email ssk@. Please fill out the form by Feb. 13!! UPenn - Sat. April 3

** PTKD Jacket: If you have competed in a tournament and would like a jacket, please email Rae Drach (rdrach@).

** Equipment: If you want to order equipment, also contact Rae.

** I cannot wait for second term so we can begin training! I look forward to seeing you all in class and enjoy the rest of intercession. Please look out for more emails from me during the first week of term as we get settled in. GET PUMPED!
Yours truly,
Carissa
