11.11.2009 | Okay so a lot has happened since I last updated. But the latest bit of news is that I got my first journal paper published! JAP Paper.


09.01.2009 | I'm now an IGERT Fellow! This is an NSF-funded program that supports interdisciplinary and collaborative research. This particular IGERT program focuses on nanotechnology for clean energy and has a heavy African development component attached to it as well. Sounds fun!


03.21.2009 | Just returned from Kenya and Ethiopia! We were there to do some field testing on our solar-powered vaccine delivery system. It was an AMAZING trip. Words really can't do it justice. Check out my photo galleries on the Journeys page!


12.18.2008 | It's a little late but I thought I'd do a little bit of shameless self-promotion.


05.28.2008 | Hooray, I was just accepted to the PEI-STEP Fellowship program! You can find out more in the [Research] section.


03.22.2008 | Over spring break I participated on a "breakout" trip to study refugee issues. It was an amazing experience and I learned a lot about issues of refugees and asylees. It really gave me an appreciation for this country and the diversity and opportunity that make it so beautiful. Expect a photo gallery soon!
