The Governance Board is the elected student body of the Fields Center for Equality and Cultural Understanding, and serves as the formal link between students, organizations and the director. It fosters communication, coordination, and collaboration among other students of color, ethnic organizations and the broader campus community. The board consists of an elected chair, vice-chair, corresponding secretary, treasurer, and the chairs of respective Center committees.
