Practices
If you want to see what Lady Clockwork is all about, come to one of our practices so we can meet you
and tell you about the team. You don't need any ultimate experience to show up, and coming to a
practice is in no way a commitment to joining the team. Practices are held three times a week for 2
hours at a time. Overseen by our two coaches, Meredith Martin and Alex Lester, practices consist of
throwing, drilling, scrimmaging, and conditioning. Practice days and times will be finalized in the
coming weeks, so email Soha Shah or Nina Ran
if you're interested.
Practice will be held at one of two locations:
(1) Poe field (south of Bloomberg Hall).
(2) West Windsor fields (walk down Washington Road towards Route 1. Cross the bridge,
and the fields will be on your left).
There is a map of these locations on the men's team's website, here.
Tournaments
Lady Clockwork typically attends about four tournaments in the fall and five tournaments in the
spring. While some tournaments are further from Princeton (in locations like Maryland and Central
Pennsylvania) and require a night or two in a hotel, some tournaments are just a day trip away from
Princeton. Tournament attendance is highly encouraged, since tournaments are a great bonding experience
with the team and the best way to improve your ultimate skills. Check out the Tourney page for Lady Clock's past tournaments.
Spring Break in Georgia :)
Every Spring Break, Lady Clockwork travels down to Georgia along with Princeton men's ultimate team,
Clockwork Orange. While playing great ultimate in some Georgia tournaments, you can look forward to living
it up with your teammates in a beach house, catching some rays on the sand, eating fudge at the Savannah
candy store, and lots more. All rookies are encouraged to come. Ask anyone on the team; you don't
want to miss it! Check out the Photos page for past Georgia action.
Fees
You can expect to pay annual dues (generally about $40) and for your own Clockwork jersey
(also around $40). Check out our hot jerseys on the Photos page. Money should not discourage or prevent anyone from
joining Lady Clockwork; email Soha Shah if you have any concerns.
