1. College is the time to try something new. Never played a sport before? Played a sport in high school, and looking for a change? Varsity sports at Princeton didn't work out for you? Whether you're a freshman or an upperclassman, this is your chance to start playing ultimate Frisbee with Lady Clockwork. You can be a top-level ultimate player by the time you graduate.

2. As a club sport, ultimate Frisbee is the perfect level of competitiveness and commitment. Train hard and represent Princeton in high-level intercollegiate competition, without the crushing time drain involved in varsity sports. So you can play ultimate and study and practice your instrument and sing in an a capella group and...

3. You don't need any previous experience to join Lady Clockwork. We'll teach you everything you need to know! In fact, about 75% of the current team played ultimate for the first time with Lady Clockwork. (But don't worry-if you're an experienced player, you'll fit right into the team structure.)

4. Ultimate is the best way to keep off the freshman fifteen. Trust us-you'll look forward to the fun, supportive team practices and workouts a lot more than slogging on the treadmill by yourself in the Dillon basement.

5. Meet a sweet, sweet group of frosh and upperclass women. Between practices, tournaments, and fun social events like team dinners, holiday parties, and game nights, you'll get to know your teammates fast...really fast. We've all met some of our best friends at Princeton through Lady Clockwork.

6. Travel the northeast and represent Princeton at intercollegiate ultimate tournaments. Tournaments are a blast! Play high-level ultimate by day and bond with your teammates in sketchy hotels by night. Besides, where else can you learn all the words to the "Your Momma is a Llama" cheer?

7. Lady Clockwork spends every Spring Break chilling out in Georgia. While playing great ultimate in some Georgia tournaments, you can look forward to living it up with your teammates in a beach house, catching some rays on the sand, eating fudge at the Savannah candy store, and lots more. All rookies are encouraged to come. Ask anyone on the team; you don't want to miss it!

8. Spirit of the Game-it's awesome. Ultimate Frisbee is governed by "Spirit of the Game," or the principles of sportsmanship and the joy of play. On one hand, that means there are no referees in ultimate-you make the call. On the other hand, that means tournament play is tons of fun, with opposing teams making up silly cheers for each other and facing off in games of "Wah" and "Vegetable-Off"... Learn these and many other wacky ultimate Frisbee traditions.

9. Take advantage of top-notch coaching. While many other Princeton club sports are run entirely by students, Lady Clockwork is privileged to be trained by two friendly and experienced coaches. It's a great opportunity to learn your skills from the pros.

10. You'll fall in love with ultimate Frisbee. The handler's looking at you-you can tell she wants the huck. You sprint forward, then quickly cut towards the backfield, totally faking out your defender-she didn't know what hit her. You can hear your teammates cheering you on from the sidelines. Sprinting your heart out towards the end zone, eyes on the disc, you make a big dive and grab it with one hand. Score!
