Sphere packing is a geometrical problem involved in filling a specified space with n-spheres. This interesting geometrical problem has applications beyond itself including optimal resource allocation and efficient phone switching.

Professor Conway will share his expertise in this field as well as his "Retrospective," his personal comments on his personal history, experiences with mathematics, and his research.
